Joelle D’Arco is the proud owner of Shooting Starz. She made her dream come true in July of 2009 when the doors were opened to Shooting Starz. Joelle originally comes from Boston where she was a competitive gymnast/dancer growing up. She attended college in Western Massachusetts with a degree in Biology. Joelle is working on 18 years of experience as a coach and loves coaching gymnasts of all levels. She has one daughter Lydia who also enjoys the gym in her class and a son Anthony. Her favorite event to coach is the Balance beam. She is safety, CPR, and AED certified. Looking forward to our 15th year of Shooting Starz Gymnastics.
Dave D’Arco is also the proud owner of Shooting Starz and has enjoyed every minute of it. In 2017 he began his Ninja class and it has grown incredibly. His Knowledge of gymnastics has grown along with his love for the sport. Shooting Starz and become a family operation with his daughter doing competitive gymnastics and his son in the gym for Ninja classes!
Becky Finch is the manager at Shooting Starz Gymnastics. You can find her coaching Team and teaching classes. Becky competed in gymnastics for 15 years into college. She competed for Wilson College in Division III. Becky’s greatest accomplishment was being nationally ranked on Vault in her senior year in college. Becky loves to share her love of gymnastics with her son and daughter. Continuing her gymnastics education is very important to Becky and she is CPR and AED certified as well as continuing to take classes through USA Gymnastics University.
Ashlee Berry previously was a level 10 gymnast and was training for the elite level. She has been coaching all levels of gymnastics for 13 years, from mom and tot classes to level 10 gymnasts. Ashlee enjoys coaching all events but her favorites are floor and beam. She also serves as one of the team’s choreographers for beam and floor routines for the optional level gymnasts. Ashlee has attended several TOPs, elite clinics, and gymnastics workshops and trainings nationwide. When not in the gym, Ashlee works as a full-time pediatric Physical Therapist with her degree from Misericordia University. Ashlee is safety certified through USA Gymnastics. Tanya Brojakowski is our Birthday Party Coordinator and Team Coach at Shooting Starz Gymnastics. Her background is in cheer and dance. Tanya is your go-to person for planning your child’s fantastic and fun birthday party! She enjoys working at Shooting Starz and specifically enjoys working with the kids, teaching kids new skills, and seeing them succeed.
Sarah Plaviak was a competitive gymnast for 5 years and competed at level 8. Sarah graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Special Education. She now works at Bear Creek School. Her favorite event to coach is floor exercise and she has grown to enjoy working with the optional team gymnasts. She has now taken on a bigger role at the gym and assists with running the Team program. Sarah has been coaching at Shooting Starz for 5 years and is CPR and AED certified and also safety certified through USA Gymnastics.
Julie Texeira is the XCEL Bronze coach at Shooting Starz. She also loves to teach all class levels. She is a former gymnast. Julie loves sharing her love of gymnastics with her daughter and son!
Grace Osiecki is a class and team coach. She is a former Level 8 competitive gymnast at Shooting Starz. After hanging up her grips, Grace decided to share her knowledge with the next generation of gymnasts. She teaches all class levels and works with our Bronze, Silver, and Gold team gymnasts. Grace is a student at Duquesne University studying Physical Therapy.
Ella Anderson is an optional level gymnast. She has been a member of the SSG Competitive Team for over 5 years. Ella has been an instructor at the class gym for several years as well. She is excited to be progressing to Junior Coach for the Xcel Bronze Team for the 2025-2026 season, many of whom she helped develop through the Rising Starz class.
Anna Cody is a progressive coach and a birthday party helper at Shooting Starz Gymnastics. She is also a day camp counselor. Anna is a former competitive gymnast at SSG and uses her knowledge to teach our class gymnasts.
Ms. Autumn
Ms. Paige is a progressive coach at Shooting Starz. She teaches all class levels and loves being in the gym with her students. Ms. Paige also works birthday parties and parents’ nights out. We love Ms. Paige’s enthusiasm with all her students!
Kortnee Space is a mother of 2 boys and loves to share her love for kids at SSG. She is the summer camp director and is doing a wonderful job at it this summer. Kortnee also teaches classes throughout the week.
Jessica Edwards is the 2025 Summer Camp Director at Shooting Starz Gymnastics. Ms. Jessica has a background in childcare and brings her organization skills to planning the themes and activities for Summer Camp and Parent Nights Out. Her favorite event to coach is Floor.
Ms. Audrina is a competitive cheerleader at Crestwood High School. She brings her passion to classes, birthday parties, and Parent Nights Out. Her favorite event to coach is Beam.
Ms. Brooke is a student at Crestwood High School and loves to dance and her favorite style is lyrical. Ms. Brooke brings her enthusiasm to our Pre-School classes, birthday parties, and Parent Nights Out. Her favorite events to coach is Beam. She also runs track and field and participates in the long distance events.
Ms. Mia
Ms. Lily is a competitive team gymnast training Level 8. Her favorite event to coach is Floor. Her biggest accomplishment is competing at Level 7 regionals! Ms. Lily can be found at the Class Gym coaching all different classes as well as birthday parties and Parent Nights Out.
Sophia Risley was a competitive gymnast at SSG and will now be proudly working with the team for season 2025/26. Sophia also keeps busy playing field hockey, cheering, and track.
Lydia D’Arco is a level 8 gymnast and assists with team, camp, and birthday parties when she can. She is a student at Crestwood, absolutely loves working with kids, and looks forward to the fun days ahead!
Nikki Risley has been a team coach for 3 seasons now and loves the sport to share with all. Nikki loves to see the improvements in all of the girls and enjoys the excitement with them. Teaching gymnastics allows her to share her joy of gymnastics.
